- 6 Local Bands play each Sunday, the winner advancing to.
- Bands sell tickets to each event for $6. The band keeps $2 for each ticket they sell.
- Bands pay a $100 deposit to pick up tickets and fliers and keep the first $100 in ticket sales.
- Bands are given fliers for their event and included in radio spots on 105.7 The Point and also on the Point & Pop’s Websites
- Set position is decided by ticket sales, with the band selling the most tickets getting first choice of set slots.
- The final 3 set slots include the band performing a song live on the radio during the 105.7 Point live Remote.
- Each bands set is recorded on a CD
- Band Members receive VIP Room access that includes drinks and munchies
- The winning band advances to
Pop's has teamed up with 105.7 The Point to make the Sunday Night Local Show even better. 6 bands will compete every Sunday Night for the chance to win $1,000 cash and 20 hours of recording time at Trailer Studios. The Point will have a 2 hour remote from 8pm - 10pm every Sunday. 3 of the 6 bands will play one of their songs live on the radio each Sunday Night. Here is a breakdown of how everything will work. Band 1: 6:00 - 6:30 Small Stage
Band 2: 6:35 - 7:05 Main Stage
Band 3: 7:15 - 7:45 Small Stage
Band 4: 7:55 - 8:25 (Live Song on Point at 8:20) Main Stage
Band 5: 8:40 - 9:10 (Live song at 9:00)
Band 6: 9:30 - 10:00 (Live song at 9:40)
- One of 6 spots on “The Battle To play Pointfest 2007”
- 20 hour recording session with local studio
- $500 Gift Certificate to Local Music Store
- Judging will be done by Record Label Reps, Point Programming and Promotion staff, and Pointdest booking agents.
- 105.7 The Point will send band promo packs to all of their Record label Reps.
- Point will feature a song from each band on the radio the week of the show.
